Sessions
Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and I aim to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly listened to—wherever you are in the world.
Therapy sessions provide a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals, and to learn new skills at your own pace. Sessions are usually weekly or bi-weekly, but we can adjust frequency to suit your needs.
Options:
In-Person – Utrecht, the Netherlands
Online – via your preferred video platform
Hybrid – a flexible mix of in-person and online
Sessions are available by appointment, with flexible scheduling to support different time zones and lifestyles. Therapy is offered in English and Portuguese.
Payment: can be made via credit/debit card or online bank transfer.
Fees
Initial consultation:
Free 15-minute phone or video consultation: This is an opportunity for you to share a little about what brings you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. There is no obligation—just a gentle first conversation.
Individual Sessions:
60 minutes session: € 100
75 minutes session: € 120 (Intake or extended sessions)
Accessibility
These prices are meant as a guideline, not a fixed rule. I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, and reduced fees may be available for those experiencing financial challenges. Each case is considered individually, so please don’t hesitate to reach out or mention it during our first consultation, and we can find an arrangement that works best for you.

To avoid charges, clients are kindly asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. Appointments canceled with less notice, or missed without notification, may be billed for the full session fee. Exceptions may be considered for genuine emergencies.

As a private psychological practice, my services are not included under the standard Dutch health insurance plan. This setup enables me to offer immediate access to care, bypassing the need for referrals, lengthy waiting times, and offering a more personalized approach to treatment with greater flexibility. While my services are not covered directly by standard insurance, some clients may be eligible for partial reimbursement depending on their insurance provider. I encourage you to contact your insurer directly to explore potential reimbursement options. For further details, please consult with your insurance provider.

Open and honest communication is at the heart of our therapeutic relationship. I value your feedback and encourage you to share any concerns or thoughts you may have. If you ever have a complaint or concern, I invite you to discuss it with me directly. Together, we can work toward a satisfactory resolution, ensuring your therapy experience remains positive and fulfilling.
In the rare event that we are unable to resolve a concern together, complaints can be addressed through the NIP's disciplinary procedures. As a member of the Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP), I adhere to their code of ethics and disciplinary procedures.
