Individual therapy
Select the therapy format that works best for you.
-
In-person sessions take place in a private, one-on-one setting where we can focus on your goals and work through challenges like stress, anxiety, and relationships. You lead the process, and I’m here to guide you, helping you build skills and make lasting changes.
-
For those who prefer the flexibility of online therapy, I offer video sessions. Online therapy is a great option if distance, travel, or scheduling makes in-person meetings difficult. It’s important to ensure a private space during online sessions to maintain confidentiality, and I’ll discuss any advantages and limitations of online therapy with you at the start.
Youth-Focused Therapy
Empowering Young People through Self-Discovery and Creative Expression
-
Adolescence and young adulthood can bring significant change, and with it, unique challenges. Whether it’s navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, or a lack of motivation—often exacerbated by academic pressure, family dynamics, or societal expectations—youth-focused therapy provides a safe, supportive space to explore and address these issues.
In our work together, we'll use evidence-based approaches like ACT and Art Therapy to help young people express themselves, gain insight, and build emotional resilience through creative, practical tools for coping. The goal is to create an environment where youth can openly explore their experiences, build coping skills, and develop a greater sense of self-awareness and confidence. Through a collaborative approach, we will work together to support emotional growth and empower them to face life's challenges with a stronger sense of self.
Cultural-Focused Therapy
Navigating Transitions with Support and Understanding
-
Leaving behind your home country and transitioning to a new culture can be both challenging and overwhelming, especially when you also lose your support network of friends and family. Whether you're adjusting to a new environment, facing challenges related to immigration, or navigating cultural differences, I offer culturally sensitive therapy that values your unique background, experiences, and identity.
In our sessions, we’ll explore how to empower you to adjust to your new context, build a supportive network, and manage any anxieties or stress that arise during this transition. Cultural factors shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Together, we’ll navigate these complexities while developing strategies that align with your values and experiences.
